What you will learn in this track

Where conversion optimization sits in the marketing stack, what makes a good conversion rate, how to set the right goals, and which psychological principles influence purchase decisions.

  • By the end of this module, you'll position conversion optimization as a core lever alongside paid, SEO, email, and CRM, make the case for CRO as a multiplier on existing traffic rather than a cost center, assess your organization's CRO maturity level, and identify your next concrete step.
  • By the end of this module, you'll evaluate your conversion rate in detail across industry, device, channel, and customer segment, see through the pitfalls of average benchmarks, and establish your own segmented baseline as a management tool alongside metrics like revenue per visitor.
  • By the end of this module, you'll have built a goal hierarchy for your shop covering your North Star Metric, output and input metrics, and guardrails. You'll know how to distinguish leading from lagging indicators and communicate CRO goals as financial outcomes your board will immediately understand.
  • By the end of this module, you'll recognize psychological levers like cognitive load, scarcity, social proof, anchoring, loss aversion, and default bias on your pages, distinguish honest behavioral guidance from dark patterns, and test every lever against one question: is it real, and does it help the visitor?
