1. Data controller

2. What data we store
In your Academy account we store: email address, first and last name, password hash, course progress, quiz and exam results, and any certificates issued.
3. Purpose of processing
This data is used exclusively to provide the Academy content, authenticate you, issue certificates, and communicate with you.
4. Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) at registration. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account.
5. Retention
Personal data is deleted as soon as you delete your account. Certificates also become invalid once the account is deleted.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. Use your account settings or contact datenschutz@jdk.de.
7. Cookies & tracking
We use technically necessary cookies for session management and security (CSRF tokens). On academy.jdk.de we additionally use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Meta) to measure ad effectiveness and improve the site. This involves transmitting data to Meta. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given at registration.
